Well once again we have come to the end of another season for us here at Superior Plants.
To say it has been challenging would be somewhat of an understatement.
However thanks to all of our lovely customers we have made it through to the end of the summer.
We are closing the nursery from Saturday 11th July 2020 until Monday 31st August. During this period we will still be available by appointment but will be limited in staff.
When we come back at the end of August we will have an exciting array of plants, shrubs and bulbs to make sure the gardens are well stocked for Autumn, Winter and Spring.
Here is the Hydrangea Runaway Bride that recently won the RHS Chelsea Plant of the year.
Flowering all summer long, be quick to grab a special offer along with some Ericaceous Compost and sit back to enjoy a beautiful plant all through the summer.
Currently we are able to supply a large variety of bedding Plants and Herbaceous Perennials and are receiving new stock all of the time.
We Have the following items in stock:
Richard and Mike from Upavon Golf Club asked Superior Plants to plant the new beds in front of the stunning new patio area in front of the Club House on the first Tee. We sourced small buxus hedge interplanted with buxus pyramids to break up the 36mtr stretch. Also there was a new bed to the left of the area which we planted with trees and shrubs. The sun was shining and what a beautiful setting for a round of golf.
Sign Design Ltd asked Superior Plants to re-plant two large Olive plants that were struggling in their existing planters. The specification was to re-plant the Olives into the planters that Sign Design Ltd had manufactured for Hyde Park Estates. We used John Innes number 3 and slow release fertilizer so that they would have a new lease of life. Working carefully in the streets of London is always an interesting, but Jess had it under control manouvering carefully with the nimble Avant.
We recently upgraded our Avant Articulated Loader to the new 750 as this little beauty will lift 1.6t. It is like having another person here to get through the work, which is heavy going for the winter displays.
